Paul Jacoulet: Views of Korea @ San Antonio Museum of Art in August

The San Antonio Museum of Art will present Paul Jacoulet: Views of Korea from August 12. Paul Jacoulet (1902-1960) was the first foreigner to master woodblock print printmaking in the Japanese tradition. The artist was born in France but spent most of his life in Japan.



Eight Jacoulet prints depicting Korea will be shown in the Asian Art Special Exhibitions Gallery. The Museum is currently showing eight prints depicting scenes of Oceania from the same artist until August 7.
