News - Ullens Center teams up with Minsheng Art Museum

The Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) in Beijing has formally announced its plans to work with the Minsheng Art Museum, a new Shanghai-based art organization funded by the Minsheng Bank, to promote contemporary art in China and the world. The Minsheng art center is due to open formelly on April 18 in Shanghai’s Red Town art zone with a large-scale exhibition tracing the history of Chinese contemporary art over the past 30 years. Famous avant-garde artist Zhou Tiehai has been appointed chief director of the museum.

No specific projects for the new collaboration have been announced yet, but there are plans for cooperation on exhibitions and education.
