Must See: Royal Academy exhibition in Singapore

An interesting and vibrant contemporary exhibition with aesthetic appeal and a surprisingly high number of abstract works. The mix of RA and Asian artist's works  has been well hung together.

Amongst my favorite works are the abstract paintings of Paul Huxley, a twin globe sculpture by Rudi Mantofani, Donna's Ong cabinet of green curiosity and FX Harsono's installation video. Most impressed by Sopheap Pich's new work: 3-D painting made of bamboo, rattan, wire and beewax.. a  real departure from his previous rattan sculptures.
