Another 'affordable' art fair to hit Singapore in January 2013



Leave space on your wall for the Worlds Apart Fair, a new project aims at exhibiting the works of emerging artists from around the world. The organizer has chosen an hotel setting - The Conrad - for this new fair that will join the already busy January art calendar with ArtStage Singapore.

Organized by A Kiss Inc, the fair will run from Jan 25-27, and be spread over the suites of the hotel on 3 different floors. Artworks will also be displayed at the hotel’s atrium.There will be an entrance fee of $20 for visitors.

Among the exhibitors who have so far registered for Worlds Apart are: First Love Gallery, Sunjin Galleries and Japanese artist Naoko Tosa (top photo).

No further details are yet available on the vision of the fair, beyond showcasing emerging market and how it will differentiate itself from the Affordable art fair (beyond its hotel setting that echo the presentation of auction houses).
