Bangkok to host Haute Couture Week end September

Last year, Singapore hosted the first French Haute Couture Week, presenting 8 Parisian Couturiers that were recognised by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris. This September, it's the turn of Bangkok to present an 'International Couture Fashion Week' mixing creative talent from Thailand with Japan, Korea, Singapore and France.
According to organizers, the event will be making a positive stride towards providing Asian Couturiers with a dedicated platform to showcase their talent to the rest of the world.

The three Thai couture designers are Chamnan Pakdeesuk for FLYNOW, Nagara Sambandharaksa for NAGARA and Sirichai Daharanont for THEATRE, while Korea will be represented by Lie Sang Boon, Japan byYumi Katsura and Singapore by Frederick Lee. French grand couturier Christophe Josse will bring his latest collection fresh from Paris Couture Week.

The by-invitation only event will run at Siam Paragon Sep 27-30.
