“gathering clouds…” is a series of 60 new works by contemporary artist Chen KeZhan which will be on show at Visual Arts @ Temenggong from April 24.. This latest series, executed over the last two years, continues to evoke scenes from nature, drawing inspiration from the Singaporean artist’s countless travels along the Mekong River.
This is the inaugural fund-raising exhibition for Visual Arts @ Temenggong (VAAT), a non-profit organization conceived to enable artists to help other artists. VAAT was founded in 2009 to manage the international artist residency programs at the five colonial-styled conservation houses on Temenggong Road. All proceeds from the sale of works will go towards funding the organization’s international artists in residence and its arts education programs.
